Meet Raphael!

Raphael loves travelling, Raphael loves social businesses, Raphael loves surfing and Raphael loves trains, well that’s probably his motivation for the Yatra. He was born in France to a family of teachers in a village called Clamart and shares an younger sibling. He believes he has got one of the best childhood from his parents. He has travelled to Africa, Mexico, India, Birmingham and his favourite destination is Brazil.

He is very much into social initiatives because of the activities done by his parents during his childhood. Raphael had most of his education in Paris. He studied economics in sciences po Paris, and was on an exchange to Birmingham. He travelled to Brazil where he practiced his passion, surfing. After working for years at airbus, he along with his friend has started a company named Circul’R, working on sustainability and waste management. It is an international network of circular economy startups. It gathers entrepreneurs worldwide that have put in place solutions to accelerate the transition towards circular economy. It’s a bridge between the change makers and companies to co-create solutions for a respectful economy of both the people and the planet.
